ROUND TABLE

KIPP Renaissance’s daily Advisory program, Round Table, is a significant part of our school’s culture. Each student is assigned an advisor the summer before his/her freshmen year of high school, and that Advisor will be the same for the next four years. Students build strong relationships with their Round Table advisor and peers by doing community and school service projects together. Round Table groups meet Monday through Thursday before or after lunch; topics include health and wellness, goal setting, and much more. Round Table advisors will also be the teachers writing narrative report cards for students twice per year, and they should be the first person a student or parent/guardian calls with questions or in the event of an emergency.
